After a beautiful few months of celebrating with family, we continued our January in the same spirit. We welcomed the new year with warm hospitality and the gathering of friends and family.
Even though New York was barely dusted this winter so far, we made sure to take advantage of some time together.
The Inn at Stony Creek family gave it our all on the trails before finally turning in for the day with some cocoa and toasty warm pajamas and relaxed with some video games.
Whether you’re a pro on the slopes or finding your snow legs on the bunny hills, it’s a whole lot of fun and definitely a workout.
Mountain Creek Activity Resort is a four season resort that has activities from snowboarding and skiing to water activities and ziplining in the summer months. There’s always something to keep you up and going and close to plenty of charming lunch and dinner destinations.
We got a chance to reconnect with our friends Jack and Lou for an awesome local dinner and some cocktails.
Dean and Jennifer celebrated their 10 year anniversary with us this month, in the same place that Dean popped the question. There’s no shortage of romance here at the Inn.
This is a photo of Jennifer and Dean on the day of their engagement over 10 years ago! Time may fly but sweet memories are timeless. Thank you for spending this important day with us!
Joe had a heartwarming visit this month with his beautiful cousin Kathy and the always lovely Lori. They did so much to brighten his day with their surprise visit, it was such a treat to have them.
There’s always people to see and something to do at the Inn, and one of the guest favorites is our English Movie Night! We gather together with homemade sweets to wind down after a long day and watch a classic movie.
One of our most popular desserts being asked for by name is Joe’s famous chocolate cake. If you have a sweet tooth, this is to die for. He decided to share the top secret recipe for the cake fans that are craving some chocolate.
