Circa 1840
The Inn at Stony Creek was originally a 104 acre Dairy Farm built in 1840 until in 1996 it was sold to a developer for new home sites. The Main house was scheduled for demolition to make way for a new home when it was purchased and rescued by Bill Signor (one of the Innkeepers) and restored. The large Dairy barn was taken down to make way for Coppergate Lane and its’ 30 home (s). The Inn restoration was done in stages and took three years to complete.
We opened our doors in 2000 with out new addition completed in 2012 and plans have been completed and new barn has been built to store our vehicles.
Stony Creek now consists of 10 acrs, a stream, a pond, and 40 acres of Audubon preserve adjoining the property. Across the road is owned by the Windy Hollow Hunt Club, and English Riding Clun with trails on over 200 acres.

A Perfect Fusion of Design, Nature, and Warm Hospitality! Our stay at the Inn at Stony Creek was absolutely magical. As a lover of architecture, design, nature, and animals, finding all of these passions united in one spot was a dream. The house is stunning, and the property features a gorgeous pond complete with charming ducks.Every piece of furniture, artwork, and design element tells a story and speaks volumes about Bill and Joe’s eye for beauty. It was an absolute joy just walking through the house and taking in all the exquisite details. You could breathe the love in every corner of their place. They are phenomenal, warm hosts who made us feel just like family. To top it off, breakfast was fantastic—we especially loved the homemade sourdough bread and the focus on natural food. Definitely a unique place to repeat. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

This was my 2nd year in succession at the Inn. The experience was more of the same as last year... absolutely wonderful... but different! This year a little more time was spent at the 🦆& 🦢 pond, something I immensely enjoyed. The view of the surrounding mountains is fantastic and the peace and contentment I felt (away from NYC) was sorely appreciated... 🧎🏽♂️ I am already looking forward to next year... it seems like the more time spent there, the more time I want to spend there... 😊 Thank you Bill and Joe for another great experience... 🤗 Robert (The American in Germany) Date of stay:June 2026 Previous Review: There are so many great things to say about the Inn and its owners Bill and Joe... 5 stars is actually insufficient. You'll just have to stay there yourself, and you'll know what I mean... 🤷🏽 Date of Stay:June 2025

This is a lovely inn with antique furnishings and all modern comforts. Our room was immaculate, comfortable and well appointed. We fell asleep to the sound of the fountain in their on site pond and woke to a delicious, creative and well prepared breakfast. Mykonos the resident cockapoo even hopped on our arms and said hello quite clearly!

A group of us stayed for a birthday celebration. This was exactly what we all needed for our girls getaway. There are breweries and wineries nearby. The hosts were friendly and gracious. We relaxed near the pond and fire pit. The breakfast was amazing.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Inn at Stony Creek this past Saturday. The only downside was on our part by not staying the full weekend! The hospitality was amazing and you can tell the owners love what they do and take pride in their place, as they should. Upon arrival we were given a tour and shown to our bedroom which was so clean and adorable! We stayed in the patriot room which had a great view of the pond in the backyard. The pond also had cute ducks which me and my boyfriend enjoyed watching in the comfortable lawn chairs set right at the edge. Towards the back of the property was a short beautiful nature trail along the creek we could have relaxed on for hours. And dont get me started how good the breakfast was! This was by far the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at and we are already looking at our calanders to see when were able to come back!!

We have been coming to Inn At Stony Creek for some years now. We only live 25 mins away from this place. I can't remember how we found it, but, we are so glad we did. It is the most peaceful place. The atmosphere is wonderful. The breakfast is gorgeous and the rooms are so elegantly put together. We love the rooms with the jacuzzi. Everywhere is clean and the couple that owns it, are a delight. Anyone who knows the film, Happy Gilmore and his happy place, this is mine! You will be making a mistake if you don't book here if you are in the Warwick, NY area.
